This week, Haven turned one year old. It feels like it's already been months... so much has happened since Monday.
Early on Tuesday, we left for Bangkok. We arrived there in the evening and settled into a hotel room. The room had a bathtub in the bathroom. I hadn't had a good soak in a bathtub for a LONG time!!! So I got reacquainted with a bathtub for a couple nights. Ahhhh... relaxation.
The reason we went to Bangkok was to get our year visas and do a 90-day check-in. We were able to get our business accomplished in two days. Then we spent all day today traveling back to Chiang Mai.
It was fun to get out of Chiang Mai for a few days. I didn't take any pictures (boo...), although we had taken our camera. We were able to see some friends while we were there, which was great! Our arrival back in Chiang Mai was perfect, with enough time to sweep and mop the floor and get the girls bathed before the Sabbath.
It's been a long week and I am so thankful to the Lord for His gift to us of Sabbath rest. May you be blessed by it as well.
